Sound Mind
Amplifying Mental Health Awareness Through Music
For a year and a half, I was the Production Coordinator at Sound Mind Live, a nonprofit organization utilizing music as a tool to build community and dialogue around mental health.
During my time with the organization, I contributed to numerous successful programming initiatives, collaborated with countless artists and industry professionals and produced a series of music festivals, both in-person and digital, to share the importance of mental health with millions.
Playing Through the Changes
I independently produced four digital livestreams, each featuring musical performances and mental health conversations around topics of need. Collectively, the events were streamed across Sound Mind's platforms and artist social media pages to over thousands of viewers, generating increased awareness of mental health challenges and funds to support future programming.
Sizzle Reels
Alongside the above event series, I have edited recap videos for Sound Mind's Unmasked campaign and partnership with the National Day of Unplugging. In addition, I have created motion assets for the Going There podcast, along with our yearly music festival, the latter of which was featured on CNN and throughout the NYC subway system.
Partner Production
I led the production of Sound Mind's external workplace programs to support mental health among employees at organizations including:
I also led the editing process of two social media campaigns in partnership with Kaiser Permanente and Cloud9, featuring influencers asking key mental health questions to be addressed by clinical physicians as part of the Presence of Mind initiative.
