The Deadline Club, the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, approached me to create a fresh new design for their website, Deadlineclub.org
Taking on the project in college, I completed a full site redesign, including migrating to a new WordPress theme and page builder. I delivered a modernized online presence, while also making events, resources and advocacy efforts much more visible.

A look at the homepage, which puts the Club’s New York City identity and various areas of work front and center.

An example of a “past event” post, providing an easy way for members to look back at what they may have missed.
After completing that initial project, I took ownership of the site’s day-to-day operation, including frequent maintenance, content posting and special page designs for the organization’s marquee Awards and Hall of Fame ceremonies. In 2023 and 2024, I also completed the print design for the Awards Dinner booklet.
Alongside web, I assist with managing the Club’s YouTube channel, highlighted by the self-produced “When Cartoon Worlds Collide: A Twistedly Absurd Mashup of Politics and Comics.”
